Craftool® Awl Blade
Replace a worn stitching blade and keep your leather sewing setup ready with this awl blade for hand stitching, saddle stitching, seam work, and leather repair projects. Made from forged steel, this Craftool awl blade is designed to be inserted into a compatible awl haft, giving leathercrafters a practical hand tool for opening stitch holes in prepared leather before sewing. Use to make wallets, belts, bags, straps, cases, collars, leashes, sheaths, repairs, and other handmade leather goods. Use it to help create or reopen stitch holes for waxed thread, cord, or lace after your layout has been marked. It can be paired with stitching groovers, overstitch wheels, wing dividers, stitching chisels, needles, waxed thread, and other leather sewing tools to support cleaner spacing and a more controlled stitch line. This is a replacement awl blade only. Because the blade has sharp edges, handle it carefully, store it safely, and keep it away from children.
