Fiebing's Vintage Gel Antique

Fiebing's Vintage Gel Antique is a thick, water-based, low-VOC antiquing gel designed for vegetable-tanned tooling leather. Its easy-to-apply formula settles into carved, stamped, embossed, and tooled designs to create rich contrast, added depth, and a classic aged appearance. The smooth gel consistency provides excellent control for both beginners and experienced leatherworkers, while the convenient flip-top squeeze bottle makes application clean and efficient. Ideal for belts, wallets, holsters, handbags, journal covers, and other leathercraft projects, it buffs to a warm, mellow gloss and pairs well with Carnauba Creme, Super Shene, or Satin Shene for a durable protective finish.

Directions

• Apply a liberal amount of antique to a dry, soft cloth.
• Work into leather, rubbing briskly in a circular (small circles) motion until surface has an overall, even color.
• Remove excess immediately with a clean, soft cloth.
• Continue rubbing until surface achieves a mellow gloss.
• Allow to dry completely.
• Apply Carnauba Creme, Super Shene or Satin Shene finish for a final seal. (Some finishes may pickup a small amount of color.)
