Craftool® Checked Beveler Stamp
Bring more depth to carved leather designs with this Craftool® Checked Beveler Stamp, a compact hand tool made for leather stamping custom leathercraft work. The checked beveler face helps press the surrounding leather down so cut lines, borders, leaves, flowers, initials, figures, and decorative patterns can stand out with a raised relief effect. It is a useful tool for making custom wallets, belts, handbags, keychains, coasters, collars, leashes, straps, tags, panels, and other veg-tan leather projects.

Directions
- For best results, use the beveler on properly dampened vegetable-tanned leather after your layout or swivel-knife cuts are prepared.
- Place the leather on a firm stone slab or stable work surface, hold the stamp straight, and strike with a leathercraft mallet or maul.
- Move the tool gradually along the cut line or design edge, keeping your spacing and angle consistent so the beveling looks clean from one impression to the next.
- Beginners should practice on scrap leather first to test moisture, pressure, alignment, and depth before working on a finished piece.
