Step 1: Dye the grain (smooth) side and edges of all your strips. Allow this to dry before continuing.

Step 2: With Fiebing's Pro Resist, seal the dyed sides of the strips. Again, allow this to dry.

Step 3: Glue the flesh (rough) sides of the leather strips together, making sure you line up all of the pre-punched holes. Clamp them or place them under heavy books to help them set, and allow this to dry overnight.

Step 4: Apply Tokonole to the strips and burnish to finish the edges of the pieces.

Step 5: Attach the buckle set to the strip on the side with the squared-off end. Make sure you place the buckle the correct way!

Step 6: Set the rivets to lock your buckle set in place, making sure you place the keeper between both rivets.

Step 7: On the end where you just set your buckle set, find where the fold ends at the squared-off edge, measure 3/8" away from that spot, and punch your first concho hole. Punch directly in the middle.

Step 8: Measure 3.5" away from that hole and punch another. Continue this process until you reach the end of the belt strip.

Step 9: Attach your conchos.

Step 10: Attach the belt tip to the opposite end with pliers.

Step 11: Attach the buckle to the buckle adjustment hole closest to the belt tip.

Step 12: Place this at the bottom of your boot shaft and twist it to get it aligned exactly how you want it!
