At Tandy Leather, we believe in the power of art. Not just to create beautiful, lasting projects, but to bring people together and give back in meaningful ways. We’re proud to share our latest collaboration with two incredible partners: CAVARTS and Guitars 4 Vets.

Together, we’ve created a custom leather pattern and build-along video for a Guitar Pick & String Case, combining function, creativity, and purpose. This project is ideal for all skill levels and makes a thoughtful gift or personal keepsake for any guitar enthusiast.

The Inspiration Behind the Project

Guitars 4 Vets is a nonprofit organization that provides free guitars and music instruction to U.S. military veterans struggling with the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Through the healing power of music, they help veterans find hope and community.

CAVARTS, Challenge America Veteran Arts, has made it their mission to connect service members, veterans and their families to resources and solutions that build community and give purpose to their lives. Working together, we can ensure that all veterans, service members, and their families have access to the community support and integrated resources they need to live the lives they earned and deserve.

About the Pattern

The Guitar Pick & String Case pattern is thoughtfully designed by our own Scott Curtis, Store Manager, and serves to:

• Hold several standard-sized picks

• Securely store a full set of guitar strings

• Fit easily in a guitar case or pocket

• Feature clean lines and minimalist construction
