Just the project I’ve been looking for! Can’t wait to get started. I had an idea that might make it easier to adjust the size of the visor, in addition to making it a little more comfortable. Instead of using a buckle to fasten it like a belt, I plan to use some heavy-duty elastic, dyed to match, in the back section. I know how to sew, so I’ll finish off the elastic before attaching it so that it doesn’t ravel. I’ll use a slide buckle to make the elastic part adjustable, because I know even heavy-duty elastic does stretch out a little over time.
