Started by Tandy Leather in 2018, on August 15th we celebrate National Leathercraft Day, a beautiful tribute to the legacy and heritage of leatherworking culturally, socially, and historically. We highlight and recognize the skills of thousands of leathercrafters throughout the nation no matter how long they have been working at their craft on this fun holiday.
As was the case for all 104 years of Tandy’s history, we called special attention to individuals engaging in this art form that spans thousands of years. We celebrated throughout our stores and in our communities, sharing the mutual love and respect for our craft.
